Woodville Co-operative Funeralcare - traditional and personalised services celebrating lives
Woodville Co-operative Funeralcare home in Granville Street is a haven of tranquility where families making funeral arrangements are assured of a warm welcome.
Our funeral staff are caring and sympathetic. They will guide you through the whole procedure and assist you in deciding what type of service you want.
From dealing with all the practical aspects, right through to helping you choose the flowers and an appropriate memorial stone, you can trust them to ensure your loved one is given a fitting tribute.
Jaymee Russell and Karen Wood are here to help you provide a fitting send-off for your loved ones.
Together they will advise you on the extensive range of options available at prices to suit every budget.
If you’re looking for a traditional service for your relative or friend, of course we can provide that. We’ve been successfully arranging funerals for years and can provide all the trappings of an old-fashioned send-off, including a horse-drawn carriage. One of our funeral directors will also lead the procession to the cemetery or crematorium, if requested.
Others prefer something a little different that reflects the character of the person being celebrated and the life they led. Our themed funerals allow you to give free rein to your imagination.
No matter how unusual the request, we will do our best to make it happen. We can cater for just about any wish – from unique floral tributes and personalised coffins to speciality hearses and luxury limousines.
Our funeral directors are experienced in arranging funerals for all faiths, as well as secular ceremonies.
We are part of an award-winning stable of established funeral directors
Woodville Co-operative Funeralcare is part of the Tamworth Co-operative Society which has been arranging funerals for more than 125 years. It is one of the last remaining, truly independent co-operatives in the UK.
As such, we have the full resources, professionalism and expertise of a highly respected organisation at our disposal.
Our funeral division is often confused with the Co-op Group which has more than 1,000 funeral homes. We operate on a far smaller scale, with just six other branches in neighbouring areas.
In 2016, the Society won a national Good Funeral Award for its innovative bereavement care services.
In the same year, we became one of the first funeral operators in the country to sign the Fair Funerals pledge – demonstrating our commitment to providing a transparent and affordable service.
Call our Woodville funeral home for more information about our services. We also operate a 24-hour helpline.
