Halliwell – traditional and personalised funeral services to celebrate lives

Halliwell has a reputation for providing the utmost care and professionalism

Our funeral homes in Coseley, Great Wyrley, Heath Hayes and Pelsall are equipped to the highest standards.

They are staffed by a team of sympathetic, highly trained funeral directors and arrangers who will guide you through the entire procedure.

Our comprehensive funeral service guarantees a fitting celebration of your loved one’s life. At the same time caring for you, your relatives and friends is equally important to us.

Halliwell funeral staff live in the areas they serve and know their local communities intimately. You can trust them to always put your feelings and needs first. As well as organising all the practical arrangements, they can put you in touch with bereavement counsellors and support groups.

Some families prefer a traditional send-off. However, others ask for a more personalised service to reflect the character of the individual being celebrated. Halliwell offers an extensive range of services, with prices to suit every budget. We can cater for just about any request, no matter how unusual – from unique floral tributes and coffins to speciality hearses and luxury limousines.

Whatever your (or your relation’s) wish, we will endeavour to fulfil it. The service might need to be conducted according to a particular faith, or it could involve sending someone on their final journey in a fire engine, dispersing their ashes in fireworks, or even producing a pink coffin and hearse.

We’ve done all of these things, and more, as part of our dedication to local families.

All four of our funeral homes have private chapels of rest and rooms where you can meet us in a tranquil environment to discuss your requirements in confidence. We can also visit you in your home.

Halliwell was acquired in 2004 by Tamworth Co-operative Society which has been arranging funerals for more than 125 years. It is one of the last remaining, truly independent co-operatives in the UK.

As such, we have the full resources, professionalism and expertise of a highly respected organisation at our disposal. In 2016, the Society won a national Good Funeral award for its innovative bereavement care services.

In the same year, we became one of the first funeral operators in the country to sign the Fair Funerals pledge – demonstrating our commitment to providing a transparent and affordable service.

Call one of our funeral homes today for more information about our services, including our pre-arrangement and pre-payment options. We also operate a 24-hour helpline.
